The registration for Tokyo Marathon 2009 had closed at 5PM on Monday, September 22, 2008(Japan time).

Participants will be announced in person via e-mail after a lottery in early November. Please note that we are not able to answer inquiries about a lottery.

July 22,
(Tuesday) 		Application process open to general public  
Note: Application through internet opens at 10AM on July 22
Note: Runners may apply either through Internet or using application form
September 22,
(Monday)		 Application deadline

Note: Internet application deadline is 17:00 on September 22.
Note: Application form must arrive at the office by September 22.
Note: If number of applicants exceeds number of space available, lottery will be held.
Mid-November Results of the lottery will be announced and the applicants will be notified
Note: All applicants will be notified
Late November Deadline for the payment of race entry fee.  
Note: Please pay the race entry fee through one of the designated method
Late February,
(2009) 		Guideline of participation to Tokyo Marathon will be mailed
Note: Guideline of participation will be distributed approximately a month before the event.
